Inspired by the seawater that gently comes up to you and tickles your toes. It’s a mood for the soul and a cup for the mood. This cup is only half dipped in a rolling turquoise glaze, thereby exposing the orange stoneware clay body. The inside of the cup is a beautiful shiny brown glaze.
This cup was hand-thrown and turned on a potter’s wheel, fired in a reduction atmosphere at 1230ºc for approximately nine hours, and finally crash cooled back to 1000ºc. The cup is handmade, hence, one of a kind. As a result, there may be minor differences between the product pictured and the one received- but we’ll ensure that both are almost identical.
All our pieces are microwave, dishwasher and food safe. Wherever possible, we’d recommend washing with hands.
