The Nike Air Max 97 'Black Terry Cloth' released June 18, 2019, taking on a Black, White, and Anthracite palette across the model's original ripple design inspired by Japanese bullet trains. Textured terry cloth material joins mesh and synthetic overlays on the upper, keeping the fluid look of the OG while adding a plush new tactile element.
The full-length Nike Air unit that first shook up the running world runs beneath a springy foam midsole, delivering soft, comfortable cushioning underfoot. A foam sock liner and rubber outsole round out the build, with a pull tab at the heel for easy on-and-off wear.
