The Jordan 6-17-23 'Carmine' released October 15, 2021, reviving a hybrid silhouette last seen in 2014 that fuses the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 17 into one design, its name a nod to Jordan's jersey number (6+17=23). A Black, Carmine, and White color-blocking echoes the classic AJ6 'Carmine,' with the forefoot, midsole, and midfoot overlays in Black against Carmine heel and mid-panel detailing.
Constructed from a mix of nubuck, leather, and mesh, the shoe borrows its sole unit, tongue, and profile cutouts from the AJ17 while keeping the AJ6's icy translucent outsole pods at the forefoot. The result stays truer to the original 2014 specification than most hybrid Jordan releases.
