The design is a direct tribute to the shoe on Michael Jordan's feet when he took flight from the free-throw line in the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. But every detail has been thoughtfully aged to perfection. The midsole, the back tab with its iconic "Nike Air" branding, and the eyestays are all rendered in a subtle, off-white "Sail" color that gives the shoe an authentic vintage patina.
The shape has been painstakingly reworked to be more accurate to the 1988 original, and the elephant print is thinner and more refined, just like it was back in the day. This isn't just a shoe that looks like the original; it's a shoe that feels like the original.
