Long before social media, Nike launched the Air Jordan Flight Club in 1989, the same year the Air Jordan 4 debuted. Members received newsletters, posters, apparel and a membership card. The Air Jordan 4 Retro Flight Club, released in January 2026, brings that fan club back with its logo on the tongue and archival imagery inside.
The build will feel familiar to fans of the Military Black 4: a sail leather upper with black eyestay wings, heel tab and midsole accents. Look closer and the differences show. The suede toe overlay carries rows of stitching that follow the shape of the panel, the heel carries OG-style Nike Air branding in black with a red outline, and the inner tongue is lined in University Red.
